I have been preparing to be your real estate broker my whole life!
The oldest daughter of a very large family, I have had lots of practice. Compromise and the fine art of negotiating are
important skills when selling or buying a home and - believe me - those skills were fine-tuned in my family.
My personal career includes my husband and two grown children.
We moved to Northern Virginia from Ohio in 1972 after a move a year earlier to Ohio from California. I know first hand what it is
like to be uprooted from family and friends because of a job transfer. It was not easy moving across the country with babies. Years
later, Tim's work took us to London while our younger child was still in college. Returning to the Northern Virginia real estate
market was a challenge. Yet it enables me to know what most clients will experience upon arrival to our market place. I can
answer your questions to allay your anxieties about a move to this dynamic and enjoyable part of Virginia.
My first professional career was as a Nurse and Educator. My partner and best
friend and I had an independent practice for six years. I developed a Nurse Refresher Program for our practice, and had it accredited for
continuing education credits. Several hundred nurses returned to nursing after enrolling in our program. This was a most rewarding
accomplishment for me.
I am now a member of the exclusive Grandparents Club and I love it!
While learning to walk, our oldest grandson, Adam, held on to my hand when taking a proud step forward. This reminded me that in life
there are times when we just need a helping hand to achieve a goal. So too, I can help you to reach your real estate goal!
